Realizing one's self!

I have the attention span of a 3 month old puppy, patiency that lasts aprox 2 min and a temper that sometimes reminds of the temper of a hippopotamus!

How did I figure this out? I'm just clever like that + I just started watching a movie when I thought about this thing (attention span).

Cravings

Sushi

Thai food
Indian food
Lebanese food
Vapiano

Oh...ohmnom. I want. My salivary glands are working at the speed of light at the moment and I'm having problems not drooling all over my desk.

Perhaps I should get of my lazy ass and cook something for a change?

Hair

I'm trying to plan my future, one way is to figure out what I'm doing with my hair. At the moment it's long and thick and it shines. I really like it so I think I'm maybe forced to keep it long for a little longer. So I was thinking that before I go into some dramatic changes I would like my hair to look something like Penelopes Cruz. I wouldn't mind looking like Penelope...or well, having Penelopes husband....but that's  a far fetched dream so I'll settle with the hair. She's stunning and her hair is definitely one of the things that make her as stunning as she is.  So, I might go for the layered hairstyle next time I go to the hairdresser.

But for the future....It's necessary to change hairstyles once in while...nothing more boring than getting stuck in one. So I've been thinking what happens after my long layered hairstyle era. Right now I only have to ideas of what will happen to the mane when changes need to be done.
1. Shoulder length. I've had it before and it looked pretty great, especially when it was blow dried. Problem is that I cannot be bothered blow drying my hair every morning, it's too much of a hazzle for a person who rolls out of bed only to have time to drink a quick coffee before rushing out to where ever I need to go (often with toothpaste on the lips and different coloured socks).  But it's not that bad and shoulder length can be pulled back into a ponytail....
I really like this hairstyle of Heidi....it ranks high on my list of potential future hairstyles.

2. Boycut. It's bold and it's very unlikely that I'll go for it. I used to have totally short hair when I was younger. I was also skinnier back then and I worked at a old-peoples place....they often thought I was a boy. It's fab when it's newly cut and then it's just annoying and strange when it starts growing out, which also means that one needs to visit the hairdresser more frequently. And I try to limit those visits to once to twice a year....so well, I kinda have the answer right here. But it's also cool and totally different from what I've had the last years. This look is adorable. But she also manages too pull off every single look in the book; long, short, shaved, you name it and she will look good with it.

So I really need to figure out what will happen after the layered period. But I will definitely enjoy my long hair a little bit longer. Swinging it back and forth, tying it up in big knots, braiding it and all that. It's also pretty great to see how far a girl can go by playing with her hair.....

Must love dogs

and cats and horses and cows and and and.

I love dogs, dogs love me it's a love relationship that works. I just got a new work where I am taking care of some dogs...and it's great. After one day I got all the love one needs for a day. You pet them they love you, you feed them they adoooore you. A dog will never betray you or be mean to you, in fact they'll come and comfort you when the sads hits in.

I've had dogs around since I was a kid. My very best friend was a golden-retriever-labrador mix, Mökkur Gentle giant: black and curly.  I would cuddle that dog for hours, lie with it on the floor and scratch it. And when I had problems or had the sads I would dig my face into the fur and cry a little bit and Mökkur would stay there until it was over. Best friends. I'm pretty sure that it was an extra kind dog...one reason is probably the fact that my grandmother was the one who had it and she was the best person ever lived!!

In addition to the gentle giant, there has been a small silky terrier with huge temper;Lufsa, beautiful red, slightly neurotic Irish setter; Óskar and then the mother and daughter that are still going strong despite old age and epilepsy; Kría and Aþena. It has happened on numerous of cases that I have leaned on them...And it's easier to get comfort from dogs for some reason, no talking is required.

During my studies the last years I have missed having a dog, or a cat. I have been forced to lean more on people... and I dont know if I find it helpful.

What I'm trying to say is that dogs are great. They love you to the end of the world and they will still love you if you step on their tail. They will forgive your mistakes and they're always happy to see you and enjoy nothing more than spending time together.

guys??

Stumbling upon gems

I love it when I'm introduced to a musician that I instantly fall for. Sometimes it's friends that play it while cooking nice meal (or whatever), other times it's in the supermarket or even in an annoying advertise that one can discover some good music.

And I truly enjoy sharing my favorites with people, but mostly if they also like it. It's kinda crap when you get a dirty side eye after playing the favorite song of the month and a "Yea, ok great, can you turn this suffering cat down".
Carla Bruni

My lates obsession which is basically on repeat, at home, on my bike, during troubled times, during funny times was introduced to me by my very favorite Miss Frida aka Alegria aka Frits Gruntel.  It's the ultimate feel good music (now, my french really is bad but the sound of this music makes my toes tingle).  It is none other than the wife of the french president;  Carla Bruni.  Not only does she have a silk soft voice and her songs are so feel good that I swear to god,  the grumpiest party pooper starts farting butterflies. She's also gorgeous, so in case you don't like her music you most likely will like her looks.  And if you like neither thenjust close this window and get back to what you were doing.

And to end my praising I will have to share one of her gems and I think this one totally fits me.....well most of the times:
Can you feel your toes tingle already?
